Thank you to the massive amount of entries I’ve received already – there are some fantastic stories and I’m sure we’re going to win!

Swimming Gala Results

1st Lanta = 200 House points

2nd Samui = 150 House points

3rd Chang = 100 House points

4th Phuket = 50 House points

Well done to everyone who took part in all of these events. The scores were so close that we drew with Chang for second place in the Y9 and 10 gala, so every single race counted! Thank you to everyone who swam for a friend who was sick or got in for another race when they’d already swum 7 and felt like their arms were going to fall off – every ounce of your effort was worth it! 2^nd place in both competitions is an excellent achievement – no one can beat Lanta at swimming anyway; it’s how the Sorting Hat decides which house to put them in!

Y7+8 Swimming Gala

No exact scores out for the Y7+8 Swimming Gala yet but I’m delighted to report we came 2^nd behind Lanta (who always win – that’s how the sorting hat decides where to put Lanta students!)

A superb effort from our Y7+8 swimmers – there was only 2 points between Phuket, Chang and Samui at the half way mark so to pull ahead of the other two houses was an excellent achievement – well done!

Lots of great sportsmanship today with people filling in for people who were injured. And once again, every point counted in the end!
