What an amazing afternoon! Thank you so much to all of our talented Samui Musicians and Samui Greasers for all of the hard work that went into their performances – you truly rocked the Theatre! J
I really am so proud of the students from 7P who played for us today. Some of them have only been playing their instruments for less than a year and none of them had ever performed together on a stage before but they showed great teamwork and a superb house spirit by putting together a really lovely piece for us to hear. Well done Alex, Laura, Ella, Aeneas, Hans and Jacko – I’m so proud of you!
And the Greasers? Wow! We came out first in the Drama section and really put a mark in the sand for the other houses to see. Superb teamwork to produce a really top quality performance – it gave me goose bumps to watch! Well done to the Greasers that sacrificed a large part of PSC week to rehearsing for the amazing spectacle that we were treated to this afternoon – Melissa, Teak, Eri, Melina, Albi, Ines, Pari, Nucky, Muse, Stephanie, Megan, Nastasja, Navya, Francesca, Gargi, Eu Gene, Hugo, Lily, Katie, Tom, Saranya, James, Maria, Piers, Melissa and George as well as Erin, Shaifali and Anna who helped out but weren’t on stage today.
This is the very last opportunity to bring in recycling for it to count towards the House Totals for 2012!
We’ve won the Recycling and the Tetra-pak Recycling competitions every term this year and we’re all set to win again in Term 3. But this last recycling mob isn’t just about winning - let’s make it a real celebration of how environmentally aware we are as a house! Let’s fill the bins to overflowing! All Dragons from all Year Groups and all Teachers joining together to make one last ginormous, humongous pile of rubbish! J
· Bring in as much as you can: aluminium, tetrapaks, glass, plastic, paper, newspaper, magazines, cardboard, used batteries
· Aluminium cans are worth 20B/kilo so they count for double points!
· It’s good for Samui and it’s great for the planet so let’s make a big effort!

A superb effort from everyone this morning – well done!. Mark, Tita and Purvi really stood out for me as three Dragons who were really giving it 110% this morning and I’d like to award them the ultimate accolade of today’s MVDs (Most Valuable Dragons!) J
We narrowly missed out on outright first place overall because we missed one of the bonus points available for full kit L What a shame! Just goes to show how important organisational skills are…
